I’m Emily Mohr, Founder of Nine Times Bakery. I grew up near Chicago and I can’t remember a time in my life where I wasn’t constantly surrounded by banging pots and pans and powdered sugar in the air with flour smeared across aprons. Baking has always been a part of my life, it’s how my family says hello and good bye and every thing in between.
When I got older and developed a gluten and dairy intolerance, I saw an
opportunity to develop my favorite recipes from my childhood and make them healthier.
I never want to stop indulging, I always want to have the option of treating myself and feeling like a kid again. That’s what Nine Times means to me.
I use nine types of gluten free flour in my baked goods. I’ve developed each
individual recipe to smell, taste and feel exactly like my favorite childhood treats. My baked goods give you the option of not having to choose between indulging and not compromising your health. You can have both, you can show up to a birthday party with a box full of treats that everyone can enjoy.
Nine Times is about bringing people together, it’s a celebration all day every day. I hope you enjoy these treats as much as my family and I do, and that they become a staple in your home.
